Research For Life is proud to announce the launch of the Stan and Joy Goodright Postdoctoral Fellowship, dedicated to advancing medical knowledge and improving health outcomes.

This fellowship honours the legacy of Stan and Joy Goodright, whose lifetime of generous stewardship enabled them to support many community causes. Stan was a long-time champion of Research For Life and envisioned creating a fellowship to honour his wife, Joy. Following Stan’s passing late last year—and his decision to name Research For Life as the primary beneficiary of his estate—we are proud to fulfil his vision.

Established to empower early-career medical researchers, this new funding opportunity will support the next generation of healthcare breakthroughs right here in Wellington. We are delighted to honour the Goodrights' legacy, which will continue to add value to the medical research community for years to come.
