Research For LifeAt the Research For Life AGM on 7 November, Chair Dr Lance Lawler announced that a new postdoctoral fellowship, the Research For Life Fellowship, has been awarded to Dr Abigail Sharrock. Abigail is a senior researcher working alongside Professor David Ackerley at the School of Biological Sciences, Te Herenga Waka Victoria University of Wellington.
Over the course of her fellowship (which commences in March 2023) Abigail will assume leadership of the “Engineering self-protection enzymes” (cancer research) in the Ackerley lab.
